Nathan Cherry is a student at Western Kentucky University’s Honors College pursuing degrees in Entrepreneurship and Agriculture. He also serves as a Senator for the WKU Student Government Association. After graduation, Nathan plans to transition into a business career in residential home building, real estate, and auctions. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys horseback riding, working with cattle, and boating with his family.
Prior to his graduation from South Warren High School, Nathan devoted his time to his studies, Student Council, and to the FFA Organization. In FFA, he served as Chapter President for two years as well as Regional Secretary. He credits the FFA in particular for inspiring him to move out of his comfort zone and pursue a career in the business field. The experiences and life skills Nathan gained from these organizations has inspired him to give back, and as a result, he now serves as a member of the South Warren FFA Alumni Chapter and is actively involved in judging and training students in FFA contests.
Nathan has been involved in the auction industry since he was a small boy. When he was 10 years old, he was tasked with moving boxes of personal property and running tickets at auctions. Today, Nathan serves as Head Clerk and Apprentice Auctioneer for the Progressive Auction Group. Nathan’s attention to detail, innovative thinking, and passion for helping others have made him a vital asset to the Progressive team. He considers himself very blessed to be involved in the business that has given him so much joy throughout his childhood and enjoys working with the Godly professionals whom he considers his second family at the Progressive Auction Group. He looks forward to utilizing his talents to assist your family in making your auction as successful as possible.
